Former San Diego Charger’s place kicker Rolf Benirschke thinks he was infected with hepatitis C from a blood transfusion after surgery for his Crohn’s disease. On his third attempt at treatment he was cleared of the virus. He has now made it his life’s work to educate others and lend support.
