The word enthusiasm means to be divinely inspired, and inspire takes its meaning from breathing. So enthusiasm literally means to breathe the divine. Enthusiasm is a state of mind, and a contagious one at that. Have you ever been around someone who is enthusiastic, and after spending time with him or her, you feel you can do anything? Hepatitis C is so much easier to bear when enthusiastic or around others who are.

I believe that nearly everyone can be enthusiastic. If you are sick, then puke and blow and moan with zeal. If you are depressed, let inspiration be your companion. Grocery shop, sweep the floor, or take your car to the shop with great passion.
